For Children, Adolescents and Adults
As the creator of the ENACT Drama Therapy Method, I ran a non-profit organization based in New York City that worked with over 200,000 underserved public school students for over 30 years. My trauma-informed method is evidenced-based and peer-reviewed. It has shown to be a powerful yet safe method to help youth work through emotional obstacles that block their ability to function and thrive.
Specializing in work with children and adolescents.
I love working with them because of their courage and their willingness to experiment creatively. My workshops have reached educators nationally and internationally, as well as youth workers around the country in hospitals, performing arts organizations, clinics, and corporations.
Recipient of numerous awards.
A five-year research grant from the Ford Foundation and Best Creative Group Counseling Method from the American Group Psychotherapy Association.
Presented at conferences and workshops nationally and around the world, as keynote speaker and presenter.
Authored chapters in anthologies, as well as workbooks, and am presently writing a book about my experiences in schools working with traumatized youth. I hold an MA from New York University.
