Individual and Group Counseling

For Children, Teens and Adults

Unleash Your Creative Potential and Discover New Possibilities!

HEALING FROM TRAUMA:

I offer a unique opportunity to recognize your own possibilities using drama and theater techniques for self-expression and to help you get past traumas that have blocked your growth. Connect with undiscovered parts of yourself and give them voice!

APPROACH:

My approach is based on compassion, and allows children, youth, and adults to access the unspoken parts of themselves through role play, story, metaphor and talk therapy. This type of therapy is particularly effective for youth and children because it is safe, creative and fun!

METHOD:

I created the ENACT Method of drama therapy because I believed deeply that the creative arts are healing. My method is evidenced-based, well-researched, and widely published as a best practice for working with youth experiencing trauma. The method has reached thousands of students in public schools around the country, helping them to become more self-aware, and to learn relationship and self-regulation skills.

PARTNERING:

I welcome the opportunity to partner with psychologists, psychiatrists, social workers, and special education teachers in their treatment of individuals who would benefit from a combined therapeutic approach.

FEES AND INSURANCE:

Fees vary depending on frequency and length of visits. I have a limited number of income-based sliding scale spots.

I do not participate with insurance plans but will provide itemized bills. A few insurance companies may cover DramaSol services under out-of-network reimbursement.
